Hey Mark:

You'll find attached a picture of a gorgeous Lotus 11 race car that I took during the Labor Day Weekend of extravaganza at Portland International Raceway in 2009 while I was down there taking part in the Portland ABFM.

I don't know how many CLNW members are interested in vintage racing (but I think it's several!), but I'm hoping that you are getting the word out to them and other members of CLNW about the 2013 WCLM during which we will be attending one day (Saturday) of the SOVREN Vintage/Historic Races at Pacific Raceway, in addition to all the other events and activities.

Another thing that you and your racer type members might be interested in, is that ELCC-member Chris Curtin, GGLC webmaster Kiyoshi Hamai and I have arranged is an actual "Track Day" activity at Pacific Raceway starting early in the morning on Thursday, July 4, 2013, in advance of the basic WCLM which starts with the "Welcoming Cocktail Party & Dinner" at the Red Lion Hotel in Bellevue early that evening.

This "Track Day" activity will be in conjunction with the ProFormance Racing School, it will be an addition to the basic WCLM and, therefore will have its own separate fee/cost.

I'm sorry if this all sounds like kind of a repeat of information that you already knew/know, but I've traded so many e-mail communications back and forth with Chris and Kiyoshi this past week, that I've kind of lost track of what I've told you... even though I received a message from Jerry Rude of Roseburg, Oregon a while ago who expressed an interest in this "Track Day" activity (I think that was when we were just kind of "feeling out" the level of interest).
