Last year Jerry Boone hosted a garage tour up on Fallatin Loop and I had a chance to meet some of you. I live a few doors down the block and now have most of the mechanical work done on my 1970 Lotus Europa S2 Project.  Working on the body, but have the stress cracks repaired and entire thing veil coated.  About a month ago, sight unseen, I gambled on purchasing a couple Renault 16 821-02 engines that had been sitting in a garage in Walla Walla, WA. They are essentially the same engine used in the Europa, but have 8.6 / compression pistons and so burn regular gas. One appears to have been a test engine that was nearly brand new and stored, and so I have used that one in my car. The other appears to be a used engine, but it is evident that it has been rebuilt because the visible piston tops are immaculate...so they are either brand new or have been cleaned and reinserted. I can remember that someone was looking for a stock Europa engine, and so you may
 wish to give me a call.
