Hello:

First of all I'd like to say Thank You to; Mark Gleason, Robert Vets, John Scheidt, Chuck deKeyser, Patrick Maruska, Jeff Stair and Roger Croshaw for coming to the "WCLM Volunteers Meeting"  on Tuesday evening, June 18th. I've sent this message specificly to these guys, but I don't know new ELCC member Jeff Stair's e-mail address, so... if any of you have his e-mail address, please forward this message to him for me!

I'd also like to thank ELCC-members Alan Perry, Tim Barker and Alice Larson who had earlier offered to help during this summer's  WCLM, but were'nt able to attend this recent meeting.

As you all know, this meeting was primarily meant to delineate the schedule and details of the multi-day WCLM and to discuss the various opportunities to volunteer to help during the event. I'll outline these opportunities below and itemize the names of the people who have said that they'd be able to help during these various activities... if there are inaccuracies or omissions in any of this, please bring them to my attention.

Before the WCLM starts -

Prepare maps for the routes to the various venues and activity locations... Robert Vets and me.

Wednesday, July 3rd -

Stuff the "Goody/Swag Bags" at the Red Lion Hotel in Bellevue at 7:00PM... Jeff Stair, Alice Larson, maybe Alan Perry, maybe Victor Smith, me, others(?).

An optional, pre-WCLM get together at Lotus of Portland... Mark Velky & Club Lotus NW members.

Thursday, July 4th -

Pre-WCLM "High Performance Driving Experience" at Pacific Raceway starting at 8:30AM... Chris Curtin and ProFormance Racing School's Don Kitch.

Meet people who are coming up from the Portland area at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton and then lead them to Seattle/Bellevue... me.  

Meet & greet WCLM participants and hand out participant registration packets at the Red Lion Hotel prior to the "Welcoming Cocktail Party & Dinner", starting at 4:00PM... Jeff Stair, maybe Tim Barker, me and others(?).

Friday, July 5th -

Meet people at the Red Lion Hotel at 8:30AM and guide them north to Paine Field in Everett to visit the Flying Heritage Collection (FHC)... Mark Gleason, Jeff Stair, me, others(?).

Deliver and hand out the "Box Lunches" to everybody at the FHC at 11:30AM... Chuck deKeyser.

Lead an optional long scenic drive from the FHC to the Snoqualmie Casino for dinner... Patrick Maruska.

Drive and guide people to Bellevue College for the autocross... Chuck deKeyser, me and others(?).

Help at the autocross at Bellevue College... Alan Perry, Tim Barker, Jeff Stair, Chuck deKeyser.

Drive and guide people from Bellevue College to the Snoqualmie Casino... Chuck deKeyser, me and others(?).

Saturday, July 6th - 

Get to Pacific Raceway at 8:00-8:30AM to help Alan Perry with parking in the "Car Corral" area... Tim Barker, Mark Gleason, Robert Vets, etc. 
 
Meet people at the Red Lion Hotel at 8:30AM to lead them to Pacific Raceway... Roger Croshaw, me and others(?).

Deliver and hand out the "Box Lunches" to everybody at 11:30PM... Chuck deKeyser.

An optional "Open House" at DeLorean Motor Corp. NW in Bellevue... Toby Peterson.

Help with parking on the grass "Show Field" at LeMay-America's Car Museum starting at 3:30PM... Alan Perry, Alice Larson, me and others(?).

Judge the casual Lotus-only Car Show on the "Show Field" before dinner the LeMay... a select group.

Take individual and group photographs at LeMay... anybody.

Sunday, July 7th -

Meet people at the Red Lion Hotel at 8:00 or 8:30AM to take a "loop tour" scenic drive (probably by way of Mt. Rainier) to get to Griot's Garage in Tacoma... me and others(?).

An optional "Open House" at Randal Fehr Restorations in Seattle... Randall Fehr.

Monday, July 8th -

An optional, post-WCLM "Drive In The Country" in British Columbia... Mike Boyle, Ron Solomon and other members of the Lotus Car Club of British Columbia.


So, you see, lots of people are volunteering to do lots of different things, but if any of the ELCC, WCLM participants see a place in this schedule where they'd like to help (some or more), please just arrive early at any of the venues and locations... thanks!

I hope this message has been helpful to everybody in some way.

I know that this multi-day WCLM is going to be a lot of fun! I'll see a bunch of you during early July!!!
