Hello everybody:

I just received a request from the guy who's going to be running the autocross activity during this summer's West Coast Lotus Meet (WCLM) and he's told me that he needs at least three (3) volunteers during this activity to run the timing devices which he'll be bringing with him... actually, this guy, who is a member of the Golden Gate Lotus Club (GGLC, think San Francisco Bay Area), will be driving a medium-sized "Box Truck", painted in Lotus colors with the GGLC logo, to the Seattle area that contains everything that it takes to run an autocross activity, including a PA system!

The autocross will be held on Friday, July 5th from about 1:00-5:00PM at Bellevue College in the largely-open parking lot that is adjacent to the east-side entry road that leads into the campus, off of 148th, so it'll probably attract a certain amount of non-WCLM attention,... which is okay.

Could you please get in touch with me if you are interested in helping out during this activity!?!!

And, don't forget that you don't have to be attending the WCLM to volunteer to help at the autocross that is scheduled as one of the activities during the WCLM!

PS: As you might guess, I'll be sending out a few more e-mail messages pretty soon looking for other volunteers to help with other "work items" during the WCLM, things like: "Goodie Bag" stuffing; on-site registration packet hand-out; local knowledge guidance; meet & greet during the "Welcoming Cocktail Party & Dinner" at the Red Lion Hotel in Bellevue; "Scenic Drive" guidance; etc. Several people have already volunteered, but we'll definitely be able to use more help.

PPS: Amazingly, this summer's WCLM is just a little over a month away!!!
