[members] Possible JPS Europa Plus Parts Sale

If it is a former racing JPS car that hasn't moved for 20 years, I'm guessing it is the former Chuck Clemmons car. Chuck was the superintendent of the Oregon City School District, a former teacher and avid racer in Conference. There is certainly some local history (and value) with the car.

    See the top e-mail below.

Tony

Thanks for the info. . Keep me posted and I will forward the additional info. along to the CLNW E-Mail Mailing List. We have a lot of Europa enthusiasts in the Club, so I think there will be some interest and maybe we can keep the car local.

Thanks
  Mark

Mark, hi:
Some friends just found a JPS Lotus Europa that raced at PIR back when.
I doubt the Museum will buy it so when I get images I will send along to you.
Not moved for 20 years but many spare parts.

I will let you know. Best wishes,

As you can see I have forwarded this to the Club Lotus Northwest E- Mail Mailing List. Thanks for the call and heads up. I think I can speak for the Club and say we are looking forward to seeing the Lotus 31 Simulator. Many of our Members have been and continue to be involved in local motorsports and we also hold a Club Track Day every year.
Keep me updated and I will forward the info. along to CLNW.

Mark, hi:
Sorry to have bothered you on a Sunday.

Maybe we didn't talk at Gran Tourismo but I did pick up your card there—I think?

Anyway, I'm building the World of Speed Museum in Wilsonville: worldofspeed.org

Attached are a couple images of the original 1960 Lotus 31 simulator we purchased last week.

As soon as we have finished our 95 Lola sim we will be working on this to resurrect it as a modern-day sim but using the original body and chassis, etc.

You might also want to know that Peter Stevens who designed the Elan and worked for Lotus for many years is one of my best friends.

Anyway, let's stay in touch and I will let you know how the sim progresses.

Best wishes,
