Hello ELCC members:

Coming along with this message is a bunch of information about the weekend that contains the Vancouver, B.C., Canada All British Field Meet (ABFM).

As many of you know, the Vancouver ABFM is held at the beautiful Van Dusen Botanical Gardens and it's definitely a good place to see the normal range of English cars (Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Lotus, MG, Austin Healey, etc.), but it's also a great opportunity to take a look at some of the more obscure English cars that were never imported into the USA.

The ABFM is scheduled to occur on Saturday, May 17th, plus there is a fun "Noggin & Natter" food and cocktail party (plus an auction) held during the evening of Friday, May 16th and there's an optional "Drive To Whistler" on Sunday, May 18th that might be a lot of fun.

So... take a look at the information that Joan Stewart has sent and think about getting your Lotus out of the garage, cleaned & polished and give it some exercise running "north of the boarder" this coming May.

We've had a good contingent of ELCC members take part in this event in the past few years and I'm hoping that we can accomplish this again this year... I definitely plan on attending!
